Last weekend the Fundacion MIR celebrated it’s 20th anniversary with it’s annual Magical Splendor for Life fundraising weekend and the festivities began on Friday the 21st of January with a cocktail and dinner at Casa Grande hosted by Lian Fanjul de Azqueta, the founder of the Fundacion MIR.
Friday evening’s soiree was the beginning of the weekend’s festivities, when the Fundacion MIR’s VIP supporters enjoyed a cocktail in the moonlight followed by a delicious buffet dinner with lobster, roast beef and all the trimmings.
Whilst the guests enjoyed their cocktails, models showcased dresses from Badgley Mischka’s spring-summer collection on sale at the Badgley Mischka boutique with 15% of the proceeds going directly to the Fundacion MIR.

Following dinner and drinks Coralis the singer from Dos en la Via brought the evening to a pleasant close with some classic merengue and salsa numbers which inspired a number of couples into dancing! It was the perfect start to what was to become a fantastic weekend of exciting and glamorous events!
