On the evening of Saturday the 13th of August, following a fun-filled day of tennis and golf tournaments Casa de Campo villa owners, friends, family and friends came together at Casa de Campo’s Minitas beach for the evening celebration for the Fundación MIR Family Weekend for Life.
Welcome to the party at Minitas Beach in Casa de Campo!
Arriving to Minitas Beach, the evening’s guests were welcomed to the event via a beautiful candle-lit path-way which led them across the sand to the Coco-Mar bar, where guests enjoyed welcome cocktails and canapés and bought boxes from Tiffany’s wall of mysterious blue boxes.

Following cocktails, guests were invited to take their seats for dinner at tables which had been elegantly placed below the palm trees and lit by the light of the full moon. The food was catered by Casa de Campo restaurant, the Beach Club by Le Cirque and was a delicious range of salads, pastas and meats.

During dinner founder of the Fundación MIR, Lian Fanjul de Azqueta and President of the Fundación MIR Lyanne Azqueta were welcomed onstage by Mistress of Ceremonies Pamela Sued. As the event’s hosts Lian and Lyanne, welcomed their guests and supporters, thanked everyone for their generosity in supporting the Fundación MIR and were joined on the stage by a group of graduating pupil’s from the MIR schools, who impressed their audience with a song which had been specially prepared for the event.

Sadly all good things must come to an end and as dinner ended – music and dancing started! Coralis from ‘Dos en La Via’, Casa de Campo’s favorite performer took to the stage and got everyone up out of their seats and dancing to merengue, bachata and salsa tunes, as well as the occasional ‘pop’ song! Also part of the popular ‘MIR After Party’ was the famous DJ Gringo from Miami who provided the entertainment and music for the bar area, whilst other congregated in the Casino area, where the Casino Diamante Hamaca held a poker tournament.
