It’s that time of year again! The MIR Bazaar has opened! The spring brings many treasures to Casa de Campo, one being the Annual Sugar Golf Tournament. Now through April 3rd, we’ll see golfers playing on the Teeth of the Dog, Links, and Dye Fore. The MIR Bazaar and Ladies Luncheon is a tradition that always accompanies the Sugar Tournament, and is a great way to shop with a portion of sales going to support Fundación MIR.
This year, the bazaar will include 25 different vendors with an array of beautiful products, including jewelry, colorful handbags, home decor items, resort wear and childrenswear. Some new shops and designers on display are Laura Tosato, Gianny Fernández, Mariela Benzecry from Venezuela, Indulge boutique, and Papel de Limón. We are also looking forward to many favorites like Jenny Polanco, El Batey, Rubiluna, Cabana, and Veronica & Alessandra. Cartier will also have a booth where we can ooh and ahh over their exquisite collection. Last year was the first year the luxurious brand participated in the bazaar.
The MIR Bazaar is open at La Romana Country Club today until 9 pm. See the schedule below for their hours through the weekend. Saturday afternoon, the Ladies Luncheon, hosted by Lian Fanjul de Azqueta, president and founder of the Fundacion MIR, and Raysa Fanjul, vice-president of the Fundación MIR, is by invitation-only and will include a fashion show by Sissy Bermudez and Rayuela by Julissa Peralta.
We are so excited to browse the bazaar! Everyday is a fun day to shop and the MIR Bazaar makes selecting our favorite spring-summer must-haves even better by supporting an excellent charity.
