Welcome Daniel Hernandez! Daniel recently joined the Casa de Campo team as general manager of the Casa de Campo hotel and he’s already made some great improvements!
Daniel, originally from Columbia knows the Dominican Republic and the La Romana-Bayahibe area very well, having previously been the general manager of Bayahibe hotel ‘Dreams La Romana’ several years ago, during which time his two children Danielle and Juan were pupils at the Abraham Lincoln School and the whole family were very well known and liked within the Casa de Campo community. The whole family are thrilled to be back in the DR and Daniel himself is very excited to be working as general manager of the Casa de Campo hotel, especially now that the hotel has undergone a 30 million dollar transformation and has world-class new facilities, with a new pool area, fitness centre, La Caña restaurant and lounge by Il Circo, lobby, conference centre and 80 new Elite rooms and Suites.

Since starting his new role as general manager at the Casa de Campo hotel, residents and hotel guests (myself included) have already reaped the benefits of Daniel’s management – the return of music and dancing to the La Caña bar (now called the La Caña Restaurant and Lounge by Il Circo.) Thanks to Daniel there will now be LIVE music by the Dekadas Quartet every Friday and Saturday night from 10PM to Midnight, with dancers and dance teachers to dance merengue with!
