It’s been 35 years since the last time Mark Gordon presented his work in La Galeria. From 1980 to 1983, Gordon designed and implemented a ceramics studio at Altos de Chavón, creating a vocational workshop for the people of La Romana in the Dominican Republic.
Mark Gordon is a very dedicated, and passionate about his art; he oversees every detail of the process. He’s now back as an Artist in Residence, working in the same workshop that he created, and will be presenting his latest exhibition showcasing different pieces made using various techniques to “cook” pottery.
