DSC_0003-LSun, sea and sangria at the Café de la Leche in the Marina Casa de Campo! Last Friday September 12th was a fine afternoon to celebrate in the name of a good cause, as the ladies of Casa de Campo came together for the Café de la Leche at the Marina Casa de Campo. DSC_0102-LBeing co-hosted by Gladys Quinones of Eventos y Catering and La Enoteca wine bar in the Marina Casa de Campo, this edition of the Café de la Leche brought us a great combination of food and drink: delicious red and white sangria and an impressive spread of food by Eventos y Catering. On the menu were mini mofongos with crispy pork, a variety of croquettas, salpicon, quinoa salad, as well as caprese salad and more. With more than 50 members of the Casa de Campo community in attendance, the gathering bubbled with laughter and went on far longer than the usual 7pm ending… with some enjoying the atmosphere so much they didn’t leave La Enoteca until midnight! Now celebrating more than 12 years helping the Hogar del Nino gather milk supplies for their Crib Room of 200 babies, the Café de la Leche is a gathering loved by the Casa de Campo community, which takes place once a month at a local business or the Casa de Campo villa of a member of the community. Save the date! The next edition of the Café de la Leche gathering is already confirmed and is being hosted by the girls of Boutique de Bordado; Viktoria Seijas and Jorien Van Der Meij, as well as Martina Avanzini de Pinto with her business; Martinaturally… We’ll be revealing details soon, but for now save the date: Friday October 10th.
