Marina Casa de Campo has been nominated as the best marina in the Caribbean marinas category in the “Superyacht Business Awards” of the ACREW organization.
The prize to the best Superyacht Sports Port recognizes the marinas for providing the best standard of services and facilities to the captains and crews of superyachts. Candidates are also considered by their willingness to help visitors; assuring a comfortable and pleasant stay.
The criteria taken into consideration for this nomination are location (proximity to the city, attraction points, navigation area), accessibility (proximity to the airport, highway) facilities and services offered for the crew (gym, bars, restaurants), docking services for the yacht, events and social activities for the crew, customer service (kind, helpful and capable staff), security, environmental commitment and value for money.
The Superyacht Business Awards will recognize excellence in four categories: Superyacht Marinas, Provisioning Companies, Insurance Companies, and Superyacht Agents. These commercial areas represent some of the essential businesses in which captains and crew trust around the world.
ACREW is an organization that offers high-level events that offer professional development opportunities to the captains and crews of superyachts. Their objective is to achieve a new standard of professionalism through the provision of opportunities for continuous, accessible, and innovative personal development for all superyacht crews around the world. With more than 14,000 members of crews, including more than 2,500 captains, ACREW works in tight collaboration with PYA and MYBA to provide the best opportunities to the crew.
Superyacht captains and crews will be invited and the voting stage will close with runner-up and winners of the Superyacht Business Awards, which will be announced on the 7th of December of 2020.
