For many, the most magical and memorable moment of the Christmas celebrations of 2010 was the carol concert performed outside of the Altos de Chavón church – and this year we are thrilled to announce that this wonderful show will be repeated once again!
Last year the concert was performed by a group of 80 voices from the ‘Coro Nacional’ (the Dominican National Choir), whose beautiful voices resounded around the Altos de Chavón as they sang a rendition of christmas carols.
This year the concert, a “Christmas Recital”, an enchanting selection of magical songs and traditional carols will take place this Saturday the 10th of December at 9pm on the main Altos de Chavón plaza, performed by the National company of Lyrical Singers with soprano, Antonia Maria Chabebe, accompanied by pianist Porfirio Mateo.
