Last month the International Launch of the First Latin American Fashion Awards. These awards, founded by Constanza Etro and Silvia Argüello, aim to recognize and showcase the talent of Latin American fashion designers worldwide.

One of the highlights of the evening was the screening of the Latin American Fashion Awards Video Manifesto. This powerful statement emphasizes the values of inclusion, diversity, and sustainability championed by the project.

The esteemed Argentinian Fashion Influencer, Candela Pelizza, graced the event as its host, adding a touch of elegance to the proceedings.

Accompanying the co-founders were members of the Prestigious International Jury, a constellation of fashion luminaries. The jury, composed of influential figures like Anna Dello Russo, Nina García, Carmen Busquets, Carlo Capasa, Steven Kolb, and more, ensures that the Latin American Fashion Awards will serve as a platform for nurturing and promoting the best Latin American talents in the industry.

The Latin American Fashion Awards aim to honor the region’s heritage, celebrate diversity, and foster the future of outstanding Latin American talents, solidifying their presence in the global fashion industry. The awards will occur at the iconic Altos de Chavón Amphitheater in Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic, from November 2nd to 5th, 2023.
