The Casa de Campo Resort has just opened a brand new educational daycare facility called “La Vecindad at Casa”, a place where children will combine learning with fun. This new addition to Casa de Campo is aimed at children from 10 months to 4 years old.
This new educational program will be available from September 1st, and will be operating at the resort permanently, offering comprehensive classes during the morning and extracurricular activities in the afternoon, as well as stimulation classes for kids and pre-natal classes for pregnant ladies. The center will have two schedules, the firstfrom 8am until 1pm and the other, from 8am until 5pm.
Among the extracurricular classes are; crafts, painting, musical stimulation, psycho-motor skills, homework help (reinforcement of subjects a child is struggling with), speech therapy, storytelling, swimming lessons and ballet classes, classes can be taught in Spanish or English depending on the preference of the parents.
Gema Nieto, Casa de Campo Accomodation Director along with other hotel executives were in charge of announcing all the details of this new educational daycare to the parents and caregivers, who attended the opening ceremony. “We are very pleased to be opening ‘La Vecindad at Casa”‘, a project which will benefit families living or vacationing in Casa de Campo”, said Nieto.
She also explained that “the objective of this program is to give parents a choice about where to enroll their kids. This daycare facility will contribute to their comprehensive education, stimulating their skills and learning at an early stage, as well as including fun activities.”
During the opening event which took place last Saturday August 1st, Casa de Campo children enjoyed several workstations with crafts, reading, puppets, motor skills therapies and playground games.
