Starting from last month (June 2015), the daily flights between La Romana and Miami arriving to La Romana Airport are even better – with almost double the capacity, and even an executive class.
The flight with American Eagle arriving at approximately 1pm every afternoon was previously an EMB-145 with capacity for just 45 passengers, but is now jetting in with a new EMB-175 which has capacity for a total of 76 passengers; 64 in economy class and 12 in executive class.
Daily American Eagle flights between La Romana – Miami have been in operation from the La Romana Airport, Casa de Campo since April 2011 – an essential service for those travelling to and from the Casa de Campo resort and surrounding tourist area of La Romana – Bayahibe. The news that American Eagle has increased the capacity of these flights reinforces the strength of the area as a growing tourist destination, now receiving more visitors than ever before. Bravo!
