KIDS camp

The Family Programs Summer Camp had a great turnout this year, with 510 children taking part, a number which has been steadily increasing over the years (497 in 2007 and 444 in 2008, etc.). The kids and their parents loved the variety of activities, each week a different activity was introduced – each one lots of fun for the children.

Some of the activities the children enjoyed included visiting the Sala Taína in the Altos de Chavón Archeologly Museum, horseback riding, learning to make clay sculptures and other craftsmanship, enjoying swimming at the pool and kayaking at Minitas beach. All the children loved the activities and adventures they experienced and had a great time with the staff members, who were always kind, helpful and most importantly fun!

The camp has been going strong for more than a decade, each year adapting and innovating to satisfy the needs of the public, and long may it continue!

As well as the annual summer camp, Family Programs offer fun-filled activities to children all year round, every day. Full day programs are available from 8:00am to 5:00pm or half –days from 8:00-12:00pm and 1:00 pm-5:00 pm, for ages 1-12.
