Altos de Chavón’s cobblestones received Latin music star Karol G for the first time in a show that captivated thousands of Dominicans and foreigners who chanted and enjoyed an unforgettable night. The concert lasted about two hours, beginning the repertoire with her hit “Sejodioto”, followed by “Mi cama”, “El pueblo”, among others. “Thank you Dominican Republic for being part of all the beautiful things that are happening in my career,” said the interpreter. Carolina Giraldo Navarro, the Colombian’s given name, was accompanied by a band of four female musicians, including a drummer, pianist, bassist, and guitarist, as well as a DJ. In the concert, produced by the businessman Gamal Hache, “La bichota” did not stop motivating women to value themselves more every day and not accept less than they deserve, a speech that caused intense shouts and applause. Other songs that those present enjoyed were “Gato malo”, “Location”, “El Makinon”, “Culpables” and “Leyendas”. Within her presentation, Karol also paid tribute to “old school” urban artists by singing a medley of songs by Ivy Queen, Wisin & Yandel, Nicky Jam, DJ Nelson, and Alberto Style. One of the surprises of the show was when the Puerto Rican Eladio Carrión joined her on stage with whom she sang “No te deseo el mal”, and then he was left alone on stage to perform his songs “Paz mental” and “Kemba Walker” to the audience. The concert ended at 12:25 in the morning with “Bichota” and “Tusa”.
