Juanes, a Colombian singer-songwriter of Latin pop and rock, is set to sing on the 15th 16th of November at the Altos de Chavón amphitheater, a concert that will be part of the annual event known as “Quiéreme Como Soy”!
The idea is for Juanes to perform at night at the amphitheater, after the main event that will take place in the stadium of La Romana, according to our sources.
“Quiéreme Como Soy” is a campaign with the aim of raising funds and simultaneously raising awareness of how important it is to integrate people with special needs into society. This organization sponsors institutions that are dedicated to providing and promoting the inclusion of people with special cognitive needs.
The mission of the “Quiéreme Como Soy” foundation is to jump-start a future legacy of awareness along the length and width of the Dominican Republic; to create a revolution of collaboration and more than anything, to educate.
The most recent campaign occurred last November; with the slogan “Temporada del Cariño” (Season of Love 2013), the “Quiéreme Como Soy” foundation met in Santiago with a constellation of sports and entertainment celebrities, as well as artists, to showcase its traditional softball party, in the Cibao stadium.
Since this Juanes concert at the Altos de Chavón amphitheater was literally only just announced, we’ll have to wait for news about the ticket prices and other details, but for now – save the date and come to support this foundation while enjoying a night with the long-awaited artist, Juanes!
