It has been over a year since the Café de la Leche took place in La Casita restaurant in the Marina Casa de Campo and it’s the perfect moment to go back! Julia Martínez, the owner of La Casita in the Marina Casa de Campo, invites us to a enjoy the cool summer ocean breeze during this month’s Café de la Leche. It is wonderful to see different businesses getting involved with our beloved charities! Last month, the Café de la Leche ladies welcomed spring in style at Villa Collection in La Romana with Moraima Mirambeaux, and we saw how all the ladies emerged with beautiful spring themed head pieces.
The significance the Patronato Benéfico Oriental has on the lives of these children is remarkable and never goes overlooked. Daily they feed, clothe, and bathe over 200 babies in their Crib Room, preparing over 800 bottles of milk per day, and provide educational instruction to over 1,500 students! Underway is the initiative for more Montessori classrooms in their school, which the charity has noticed is a great learning style for their youth. As a contribution, help out the Hogar del Niño’s Crib Room with 1,800 grams of Milex Kinder, Gold, NAN, Enfamil, Alacta Plus, Nido Crecimiento or RD $1,200.
La Casita has always been a popular Casa de Campo restaurant with their prime location on the water’s edge. It is always a magical experience and one of the many reasons why several events are hosted there throughout the year. With several years in business and a popular member of the Casa de Campo community, this is not Julia’s first Café de la Leche! She’s hosted quite a few over the years- at both La Casita in the Marina Casa de Campo and at La Cantina in Altos de Chavón. What makes this particular location a favorite is that since the Café de la Leche coincides with sunset, everyone in attendance will not only enjoy great company, food, and drinks but also the spectacle of the beautiful Marina Casa de Campo sunset!
Remember your donation; bring your friends and spread the word! See you there!
