Casa de Campo has just announced the appointment of Johnny Fanjul as the vice-president and manager of the La Romana Country Club.
The La Romana Country Club, located at the heart of Casa de Campo is a members-only club with it’s own pool, golf course designed by Pete Dye, tennis courts, club house, shops including Cabana by Ana Grande, a gym, spa and a playground.
This facility will now be managed by Johnny Fanjul who is the cousin of Alfy Fanjul and J.Pepe Fanjul. Johnny Fanjul has been working for 19 years for the company’s holdings in Florida.
In a letter from Alfy Fanjul to La Romana Country Club members, Mr Paniagua outlined their new objectives for the club; “we wish to bring the La Romana Country Club to a level of international excellence” referring to the golf, the food, the club house, the spa, the pool and even to social events.
He also mentioned that they will be organizing commitees, so that La Romana Country Club members can help with the continued improvement of the club.
