From Wednesday the 16th to Saturday the 20th of October, the resort hosted its first annual “Couple’s Golf & Spa Retreat”, the newest golf event in Casa de Campo, with the attendance of national and international golfers.
A sporting enthusiast’s paradise, Casa de Campo is even more specifically a golfer’s dream destination. The fun golfing event started with practice rounds at the courses followed by a welcome cocktail and dinner party that night at the19th hole of the Teeth of the Dog – a wonderful opportunity for all guests to get to know each other, dance and enjoy their first night in paradise! The tournament simultaneously played on all of Casa de Campo’s magnificent Pete Dye designed golf courses: the Teeth of the Dog, Links and Dye Fore with one round of golf played on each course each day in Shamble, Scramble and Best ball format respectively. This was an excellent way of trying and enjoying all the challenging golf courses Casa de Campo has to offer.
A prize-giving cocktail and dinner took place Saturday evening at La Casita. Sitting along the edge of the Marina, La Casita was a lovely spot to celebrate a great tournament with many commenting on its idyllic location and how nothing beats the views in Casa de Campo!
