This Sunday the 26th of April 2015, the Aldea Cultural Santa Rosa de Lima will continue its series of presentations sponsored by Dominica Ministry of Culture, and this time invites us to a magical ballet performance, where everyone will enjoy a wide range of shows performed by the traditional ballet group of Israel “Mhoal Ha Medbar”.
This activity is being hosted by the Ministry of Culture of the Dominican Republic and the Jewish community of Sosua commemorating the 75th anniversary of the migration of Jews to the Dominican Republic.
This is an event for the whole family and the best way to appreciate and commemorate the Jewish culture, so we want to encourage both the La Romana community and the Casa de Campo community to support this interesting event.
Entrance is free– so please spread the word and go with all your family and friends to enjoy a wonderful evening at the Aldea Cultural Santa Rosa de Lima in La Romana
Israeli Ballet at the Aldea Cultural Santa Rosa de Lima

The Aldea Cultural Santa Rosa de Lima is on the left immediately as you cross the bridge over the Salao river entering La Romana. It is a white building which looks a little like a fortress (hence the former name – La Fortaleza). To get to it you need to be on the side of the roadheading back out of La Romana, before crossing the bridge you turn right and cross over the railway tracks.
