Hello, I’m Inge!
“I moved down from Belgium to the Dominican Republic in January 1990, 20 years ago, as a true emigrant. The Caribbean had a big attraction to me and the Dominican Republic especially was a real challenge at that time, where there was a lot of potential but not very much else. My daughter who was nine at the time grew up in Santo Domingo and also lost her heart to the island . She graduated from the American School in Santo Domingo and went to Pace University in New York, where she still lives and works. She comes down at every opportunity she gets.
Because I speak 5 languages, I was quickly hired in the sales and marketing department of a dutch airline and made a career in the industry. In 2006 my ( belgian) husband and I bought a beautiful house in Casa de Campo and since that time I have dedicated myself to real estate sales and property management. Taking care of your villa while you are residing elsewhere can be a bit too much of a challenge to many home owners, especially if you are not fluent in spanish.
