On Saturday February the 7th 2015, the Casa de Campo golfing community met the latino baseball legends of the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame and battled it out on the Teeth of the Dog in the 4th annual INMORTALES golf tournament.
The luminaries of the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame, amongst them Moisés Alou, Ozzie Guillén, Stanley Javier, Bert Campaneris, Manny Acta, Pedro Guerrero, Nomar Garciaparra, as well as, Casa de Campo villa owners and golfing enthusiast played in a best ball format in teams of 4.
The most outstanding golfers at the INMORTALES golf tournament were the team formed by Stanley Javier, Pedro Goyco, Gerardo Genao, José Mateo, who took home first place.
At the end of the event, everyone gathered at the 18th hole of the Teeth of the Dog golf course – the Lago Grill – for the prize-giving ceremony, where the winners received their trophies and recognition plaques.
The INMORTALES golf tournament was one of the many events celebrated as part of the 6th inductions into the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame (Salon de la Fama del Besibol Latino), which was celebrated at the Altos de Chavón amphitheater on Saturday February 7th.
