Next month, from the 5th to the 8th of February, the 6th Grand Induction week of the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame class 2015 will be celebrated in Casa de Campo and La Romana, with numerous special occasions, including the INMORTALES golf tournament, featuring this year’s luminaries of Latino Baseball Hall of Fame, such as Nomar Garciaparra, Ozzie Guillen and much more.
The tournament teeing off on Saturday February the 7th at 7:30 am will be played on the Teeth of the Dog in a “Scramble” format, with prizes for individuals and teams.
With so many baseball legends expected to play, each team of 4 will consist of at least one former (or current) baseball player – you chance to tee off alongside these amazing baseball heros!
Last year, the baseball legend Teodoro Higuera and his family were crowned the champions of the INMORTALES golf tournament (click here to read the full story), but this year he will not be playing, so we will have to choose very carefully our favorite player for this year.
The complete list of baseball heros who are expected to play in the tournament are as follows:
Manny Acta
José Offerman
Rob Manfred
Jeff Idelson
Omar Moreno
Bert Campaneris
José Bautista
Moisés Alou
