It’s been a while since I’ve found any Casa de Campo related news which I’ve deemed worthy of talking about here, but I just found an article which not only talks about how great Casa de Campo and the DR is – but also some interesting gossip about Celebrities with homes here……
The article is from a website called ‘upmagazine’ – a relatively interesting travel website (though of course no where near as interesting as Casa de Campo Living.)
The article talks about how the Dominican Republic has developed from an almost exclusively low-end ‘all-inclusive’ holiday destination to a luxury travel destination – for which the Dominican Republic had Casa de Campo to thank!
Another interesting section of the article is entitled ‘Celebrity Republic’ and talks about the various celebrities who have homes or a regular visitors to our shores – Donald Trump, Oscar de la Renta, Julio Iglesias and Mikhail Baryshnikov, Brad Pitt, Shakira and Vin Diesel. Of course we happen to know Casa de Campo has even more celebrity fans; Beyonce and Jayzee, Kanye West, Manolo Cardona, Alex Rodriquez, Don Omar, Michelle Rodriquez – to name a few celebrities spotted in Casa de Campo over the past year.
Unfortunately, the article is a little out of date – talking about the opening of the Four Seasons in 2009 (postponed) and of the potential of Cap Cana…. it is nevertheless a good read.
