The moment all designers and fashionistas have been waiting for! The eighth edition of Dominicana Moda 2013 is next week from the 21st to the 26th of October.
Dominicana Moda, which is celebrated at the Embajador Hotel in Santo Domingo (with some additional events around the city) is a whole week dedicated to fashion. Each day brings at least 5 runway shows that present new collections and fashions from both local Dominican designers, as well as famous names in the fashion world.
Socrates Mckinney, Director of this huge event describes the Dominicana Moda fashion week, as the Caribbean’s leading fashion event. With the participation of designers like Leonel Lirio, Jóse Jhan, Luis Dominguez, Giannina Azar, Miguel Genao, Moises Quesada, Jusef Sánchez, Sully Bonelly, Modesta Castillo, Elie Sab and Meiling Esau just to mention a few, there can be no doubt that Dominicana Moda, the place to be next week for anyone interested in fashion.
This year they will again have special participation of Pandora’s exclusive photographer Tiziano di Stefano and Top Model Marihenny Rivera, named as the muse of Dominicana Moda 2013. As a model of important international fashion brands like Yves St. Laurent, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu, Top Model Marihenny Rivera also works for editorials like Vogue, Harper’s Bazar and Love.
