The main plaza of Altos de Chavón came alive once again as Casa de Campo Resort & Villas hosted its annual Oktoberfest celebration. The 2025 edition added a fresh twist to the traditional German fest, blending Latin flavor with Bavarian customs and community spirit.
From the start, the energy was unmistakable. Guests quickly filled the plaza, ready to embrace the sights, sounds and tastes of Oktoberfest. German and Dominican beers flowed, while authentic sausages served as the centerpiece of a festive feast that honored its roots.
A Toast to Community

The event officially kicked off with a toast led by Casa de Campo’s president, Andrés Pichardo, and chief marketing officer, Jason Kycek. With steins raised, they welcomed the crowd in the spirit of joy and unity.
New this year, Oktoberfest joined forces with the Farmers Market, creating a lively atmosphere of music, artisan goods and cultural exchange. Local vendors showcased handmade crafts, fresh produce and creative designs. Guests strolled between booths, sipping beer and discovering new favorites — a true celebration of local talent and entrepreneurship.
Caribbean Beats and German Cheer

While rooted in German tradition, the night’s music channeled the Caribbean. A DJ set the tone, followed by two dynamic local bands that kept the energy high. This eclectic mix of tropical and international rhythms turned the plaza into a dance floor beneath the stars.
The result was a festival that honored Oktoberfest’s origins while embracing Casa de Campo’s unique cultural fusion — a night of laughter, music and community, where tradition met tropical joy.
