lobby The lobby is so close to being ready that if you didn’t know what was missing you would think it was ready! In fact it is so close to being completed that the lobby will be opened and IN USE from this Thursday the 17th of December. All that is missing (as far as I understand) is the art work, which is by Jose Alejandro Alvarez and is various paintings of the sea bed and marine animals, most predominantly jelly-fish. These paintings will be huge and will match the blue, green and white tones already present in the rugs you can see in the photograph above. In the above photo on the right above the sofa you can see a grey patch – which is where one of the paintings will be hung and gives you a good idea at quiet how large they will be! The construction is now moving so quickly that I expect by now these spaces may have already been filled with the paintings! If you can’t wait until Thursday to take a look at the new lobby, below are our most up-to-date photos. Notice the luxurious modern furniture, the new rugs, the candle-esque light fittings and the many music speakers – so many that music can be played evenly and at a pleasant level in all areas.
