On Saturday January 10th, HOPE Worldwide Foundation brought a smile to the faces of children from Herrera, Santiago and La Romana area, with a massive toy giveaway to celebrate the Three Kings day.
Every year the Fundación HOPE Worldwide carries out these activities, with the aim of bringing joy to those in need, this time delivering toys to an estimated seven hundred children. The delivery of toys was accompanied by a spectacle for children, which included a clown show, contests, dancing, singing, among others. All those present enjoyed the entertainment and refreshments delivered for free.
In addition to donations of toys, HOPE donates school supplies, operating medical-dental care in different sectors, summer camps for underprivileged children. All these activities are carried out with the cooperation of volunteers from the Church of Christ in Santo Domingo.
About HOPE Worldwide
It is a non-profit association, recognized by the Presidential Decree 300-00, committed to helping the most in need. It is linked to the Iglesia de Cristo of Santo Domingo and affiliated to HOPE Worldwide international. In the Dominican Republic officially began operations in 1998 through the literacy program for youth and adults in Los Praditos neighborhood and summer camps for underprivileged children. Their field of action has been extended from Santo Domingo to Santiago and La Romana.
