Hogar del Niño Weekend is next week! Soon we will have a chance to enjoy with friends and family a fabulous weekend filled with activities on behalf of the children of Hogar del Niño. This is your opportunity to register for all the sports activities we have to look forward to in the coming days.
The 22nd annual Hogar del Niño fundraising weekend starts on Friday 15th with a new and fun activity, a Bike and Putt at 4pm in la Romana Country Club. But that’s not all because on the following day February 16th, they will be hosting their traditional golf tournament and the tennis tournament, and to finish with a flourish, a fantastic dinner dance party – We wonder what this years theme will be?? We can’t wait!

BIKE & PUTT
This is definitely a fun and interesting way to enjoy two of Casa’s favourite hobbies, bikes and golf! This is open to all ages, so join in and start the weekend on a high note!

The annual Hogar del Niño Weekend Tournament features two tee times in order for everyone to be able to participate and includes dinner.

This year the annual Hogar del Niño Weekend Tennis Tournament will be divided in two categories, Amateurs in a double round robin format and Juniors for teens 14-18 years old.

DINNER DANCE PARTY
The annual Hogar del Niño Weekend Dinner Dance Party serves as the closing event, and features an award ceremony for the various tournaments that took place earlier in the day, lots of dancing, and an interesting theme!!
The Hogar del Niño is a children’s daycare and educational center for over 1500 children, located in La Romana town, just outside of Casa de Campo. Children from as young as just a few weeks old up to 18 years old are cared for and educated daily, from as early as 5:30am and staying as late as 7pm.
The organization also provides special schooling to over 75 hearing impaired and blind children, as well as a vocational school where over 235 students receive classes in different areas like: sewing; industrial preparation, installation and electrical maintenance; plumbing and management of computer office programs.
