The Hogar del Niño Weekend is a few weeks away (the 12th and 13th of February), and in order to get ready for a full weekend of fun around Casa de Campo check out the complete schedule of events and decide which ones you want to participate in.
The 19th annual Hogar del Niño Weekend starts Friday, February 12th with two very important activities: the visit to the Hogar del Niño facilities in La Romana and afterwards the “Homes and Gardens Tour” in Casa de Campo. A special dinner at SBG restaurant in La Marina Casa de Campo will celebrate Frank Sinatra’s 100th birthday and close the eventful day.
It doesn’t stop there, because bright and early on Saturday the 13th, all the sporting activities begin. The golf and tennis tournaments, both to be played at La Romana Country Club, start the day and are followed by the MTB Bike Marathon. This year, an exciting new event has been added to the calendar, a Motocross Race at the Casa de Campo Motocross Track! Minitas Beach will feature a Fitness Class, and to top it off, a fantastic dinner party to end a spectacular weekend in a spectacular way!
There is fun for everyone to be had, and we encourage you to join in the active spirit of the Casa de Campo community by participating in as many activities as possible; the more you do, the more you contribute to the great cause of Hogar del Niño, and of course, the more fun you have!

The Hogar del Niño
The Hogar del Niño is a children’s daycare and educational center for over 1500 children, located in La Romana town, just outside of Casa de Campo. Children from as young as just a few weeks old up to 18 years old are cared for and educated daily, from as early as 5:30am and staying as late as 7pm.
The organization also provides special schooling to over 75 hearing impaired and blind children, as well as a vocational school where over 235 students receive classes in different areas like: sewing; industrial preparation, installation and electrical maintenance; plumbing and management of computer office programs.
