The calendar created by Italian artist, Angela Occhipinti from Perugia, Italy, for the Hogar del Niño is now on sale!
Volunteering at the Hogar del Niño school as an art teacher, Angela has used the work on the students as well as photos of her experience to produce a fabulous calendar. And this calendar is now for sale, with all funds raised going back to the Hogar del Niño.
If you didn’t get chance to purchase a calendar yet, it is for sale now at the Hogar del Niño, and is just US$10. It will also be available for sale at the next Cafe de la Leche, the Christmas Cafe de la Leche, which is planned for Friday the 12th of December.
The Hogar del Niño is a children’s daycare and educational center for over 1500 children, located in La Romana town, just outside of Casa de Campo. Children from as young as just a few weeks old up to 18 years old are cared for and educated daily, from as early as 5:30am and staying as late as 7pm.
