The Hoedown 2011 took place last week on Saturday the 2nd of July and if I do say so myself (which I do) it was awesome!!
With more than 500 members of the Casa de Campo and La Romana community crowded into the Casa de Campo Flamboyan conference center, which had been decorated in classic western style, the party started from 4pm and continued to 10pm….when after all the Jack Daniels and Ron Brugal had been drank, the poker tournament finished and the bull stopped bucking from exhaustion we all gave up the dancing and went home to recover!
Did I mention we also had a fantastic talent show with 5 outstanding singing and dancing acts from youngsters of the Casa de Campo community and 3 wild teachers from the Abraham Lincoln School – photos and winners of the talent show will be published soon!
