Just in time for the Easter holiday, the Hermanos Suarez circus is back in La Romana after 10 years!! Established 144 years ago, the Circo Hermanos Suárez, in its fifth generation, promises a show that includes acrobats from Romania, geometric cubes, clowns, magicians, malambo, extreme cyclists, aerial acts, jugglers, trapeze artists, dancers, and many more presentations. It is said there are no exotic animal acts, but they do have a dog show!
Their first presentation in the country was in October of last year in Santo Domingo and since then, they’ve had presentations in Santiago, Puerto Plata, San Franscico de Macoris, Punta Cana, Nagua, Las Terenas, and more. Now, here in La Romana, they arrived last week on Friday, April 7th and have shows daily. Their last show will be on Tuesday, April 18th.
Artists from different countries are in charge of offering the public spectacular routines; from Monday to Thursday there is one performance time, and two showtimes from Friday through Sunday (see the details below for specific times!). The entry fee for children is RD $ 300 for seating in any area, and for adults general admission is RD $ 700, preference seating RD $ 700, and seating in the Palco area RD $ 1,000.
