Casa de Campo Living Magazine

Good day, Casa family! We hope you are all safe and healthy. As we slowly go back to “normal”, we are very grateful to be able to live and work in Casa de Campo. So much has changed, but we are hopeful that 2021 will be the year we’ve been longing for.

This year, Casa de Campo Living Magazine has made a few changes which include us going digital and updating our design! The Wedding issue looks better than ever!

As restrictions begin to ease up, more couples are feeling confident enough to finally set a wedding date. With a bit of creativity, they have found ways to rework their celebration to make it both safe AND sentimental. Although we don’t know what the rest of the month, much less the year, will look like in the world of weddings, we are happy to see that many couples’ dreams are coming true.

This is our 37th edition, and in it, we bring you what you need to know when getting married in the Dominican Republic, a beautiful intimate Altos de Chavón wedding, the importance of hiring an event planner, makeup trends, secrets to a happy marriage shared by our Casa community, and more!

We hope you’ll find in the stories published in our Casa de Campo Living Magazine Wedding edition 2021 all that you expect and that it will be to your liking. Be on the lookout as the hot-off-the-press print edition arrives soon!

Dream Destination

It feels good to be so close to “normal” again! We are close to being completely free to get out and about, free to do things. Fortunately, in Casa de Campo, there is another kind of freedom that nourishes our souls.

Knowing that with the warm summer sun beating down on us, we’ll also be free to enjoy some of the wonderful activities we have missed for so long. I, for one, have been away from my Casa family for too long and look forward to seeing everyone very soon. Maybe it’s just me, but there is also some excitement to go and explore old favorites and try out the new businesses that have since come to life.

So while we will continue to bring you interesting features and great new finds, we are also counting on our readers to shoot over their recommendations and any hidden gems you come across—email us at We look forward to hearing from you as we deliver the content that makes life in our community the best it can be—while keeping safe and healthy.

Keep safe and have fun!

Philip Silvestri
