As part of the numerous holiday celebrations in Casa de Campo, the Altos de Chavon Regional Archaeological Museum invites Casa de Campo’s little ones to participate in a fun contest where they will have the opportunity to learn and color a fabulous booklet that tells the beautiful and interesting story of a Dominican prehistoric Christmas – the best three will be crowned winners!

The Altos de Chavon Regional Archaeological Museum, with the support of their friends, Patricia Reid, Manuel Montalvo and Manuel García Arévalo, who have written an exciting story named “Anacaoba Prehistoria de una Navidad” (Anacaoba, Christmas Prehistory), inspired by our native Indians’ experiences – encourages our Casa de Campo little ones to collect their booklets from the Altos de Chavon Archaeological Museum and participate NOW – by using their imagination and creativity to color these booklets at home!
What are the main steps to enjoy and take part in the contest?
• The kids must collect their Christmas Prehistoric Booklet (RD$350) from the Altos de Chavon Archaeological Museum.
• They will have the opportunity to color the different pages of this wonderful story.
• The Archaeological Museum will be receiving all colored booklets as entries until Friday the 4th of January 2013!
• The prize-giving ceremony will be celebrated on Friday the 11th of January 2013 in the museum’s garden, serving drinks and picaderas! The judges will be selecting the first three places! Parents and little ones participating are invited!
