Thanksgiving may not be a Dominican tradition and it is certainly not a Dominican holiday (meaning we don’t get a day off) BUT, Thanksgiving is still celebrated in the Dominican Republic – by many different groups of people and in many different ways!

Soooooo…..

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Meanwhile, here in Casa de Campo many families will be celebrating this special day with a special Thanksgiving dinner at home or going out to enjoy a nice dinner at one of Casa de Campo’s many restaurants – there are special menus available Gino in Trastevere in Altos de Chavón (click here for info), as well as at the La Caña, La Casita, the BeachClub by Le Cirque and La Piazzetta (click here for info.)

And don’t forget this Thanksgiving weekend we have a VERY special celebration on Saturday the 26th at Minitas Beach – the 2nd annual Joli-Day beach event, with water slidesm bungee run and giant inflatable human beach balls!

Also going on in Casa de Campo for Thanksgiving are a number of special offers and discounts at a number of stores throughout the Casa de Campo complex – click here for the complete list of special offers!

Thanksgiving is a day to give THANKS!! And for this reason it is a holiday that I like!
