On Saturday, October 28, the gardens in front of Génesis nightclub in Altos de Chavón came alive with energy during the Halloween edition of the Farmer’s Market. Starting at 10 in the morning, a large crowd from the Casa de Campo community gathered at this event, eager to enjoy the variety of handmade products on offer.
“This was a significant endeavor, and we are delighted to provide this event to the community,” said Luciana Goldfain, Altos de Chavón manager.

This edition featured 56 participants, including artisans and food vendors from various places, such as Santo Domingo, La Romana, and Bayahibe. The organizers emphasized their commitment to rotating participants in each edition to provide opportunities to all interested in joining the event.
Visitors had the chance to acquire a wide range of products, including a novel selection of aromatherapy items. Additionally, they could find hair accessories, jewelry, trinkets, decorative items, books, clothing, and hats. In the culinary realm, attendees relished delicious desserts, fresh vegetables, snacks, cheeses, beverages and an exquisite paella.
What made this Halloween edition special was the dedication of some exhibitors, who dressed up, put on makeup, and decorated their stands in accordance with the occasion, adding a touch of fun and creativity to the experience.

The organizers of the Farmer’s Market announced that the next edition, scheduled for November 25, serves as a pre-Thanksgiving celebration, promising a celebration filled with gratitude, plenty of crafts, and culinary delights for the entire community.
