The Altos de Chavón School of Design invites you to participate in their Summer International workshops that will run all summer long. There is still time to enroll in next week’s courses; PLUS, when you enroll you will get a 20% off discount!!

Growing up in Chavón I have always loved everything related to fashion. Art, in every one of its expressions, is something that you can breathe and feel in every corner of this village, so when i was old enough I took all the summer courses and absolutely loved them! It’s an amazing experience and you get to meet people who also love and share your passion. For a number of reasons I didn’t pursue fashion professionally, but I plan on taking advantage of these workshops to learn new things! I recommend all of the Chavón Summer International courses. You’ll be taught by excellent teachers who are experienced professionals in their industries, and you’ll either be able to introduce yourself to a new field or perfect your skill set in your current one, which is always fascinating and productive!

Next week, there will be 4 new courses all in different art forms but equally interesting and amazing. Let’s check them out:

Fashion Illustration

After finishing this week’s Technical Fashion Design course, what better way to continue in your journey than to take Fashion Illustration? It is the perfect visual aid through which to communicate your design theme. You’ll be working with a live model in class and learning more of its history.

Fonts and Lettering

People are more attracted to things when they are innovative, creative, original and call out to them. This is something that you can offer when you learn more about fonts and lettering. This course will allow you to explore various techniques and use different media to make creative lettering which can be used is a number of ways.

Experimental Techniques in Drawing

It’s amazing all the things you can come up with when you experiment with mixing and matching. It’s more impressive than playing it safe! This course will help you precisely with developing creativity and trying new things; plus, it will give you a better understanding of the various forms of media that go into drawing.

Digital Interior Drawing

This program is specifically for those who love interior design! In this program, you will be able to work with and learn to use the CAD based program, Autodesk Revit which has become a standard in design and is based on BIM (Building Information Modeling). This program is widely used by interior designers and it will help you to plan space layouts and project specifications.

Don’t miss the opportunity to enroll NOW. Classes start next week, Monday, July 25th! REMEMBER, when you enroll, you’ll receive a 20 % DISCOUNT!! Visit or call the school at their Altos de Chavón offices above the Mercadito.
