With the 4th annual Dewars 12 Golf Tournament scheduled to take place in just a few days we thought now would be a great time to share with you all are very fond memories of last years event!
The Dewars 12 Golf Tournament 2012, one of Casa de Campo’s most popular golf tournaments, is scheduled to take place on Friday and Saturday the 8th and 9th of June with a welcome cocktail at the Marina Casa de Campo, golf on the Teeth of the Dog, After Party in Altos de Chavón – and this time with 12 Dewar’s 12 Models acting as the glamorous hostesses.
Meanwhile, the Dewars 12 Golf Tournament was last year played on Saturday the 11th of June, hosted by 12 stunning Victoria’s Secret Models, who were only to happy to model their Victoria’s Secret underwear for the golfers – both on the Teeth of the Dog as well as at the various evening events – here we bring you photos and a reminder of the good times…..
On Friday the 10th of June 2011, the Dewars 12 Golf Tournament, otherwise known as the ‘best golf tournament in the Dominican Republic’ began with a welcome cocktail at the Casa de Campo hotel – in the area surrounding the main swimming pool.
The tournament’s 137 golfers, as well as various other guests enjoyed Dewar’s 12 on the rocks, whilst they mingled and enjoyed La Aurora cigar…..and the voluptous company of the Victoria’s Secret Models.
On Saturday June 11th, the golfing section of the event began bright and early with a breakfast at the “19th hole club house” and before setting off on their golf carts loaded with Dewar’s 12, the golfers welcomed the 12 Victoria’s Secret Models as they arrived in a convoy of Volkswagen Touaregs and took the ‘saque de honor’ (the first putt to start the tournament.) Not a bad way to start the day!
Whilst taking part in the golf tournament, the golfers were treated to various ‘surprises’ on their way round the Teeth of the Dog – with arguably the best being a live photo shoot taking place on the 17th hole of the Teeth of the Dog with gorgeous model Patricia Cardona – who attracted quiet a crowd of gawking golfers and amateur photographers.
On the evening of Saturday the 11th of June, the Dewars 12 Invitational Golf Tournament came to a glorious close with a prize-giving ceremony and spectacular party held at private Casa de Campo villa, Punta Aguila #14.
Before the party came to it’s full climax with a merengue band and DJ, Alex Yaryura led the prize giving ceremony in which Salvatore Bonarelli and Steven Sabo were crowned the overal winners with the best gross score of 63.
The golfers and mora than 500 VIP Casa de Campo guests attended the After Party and were greeted by a surprise underwear show – as 4 of the Victoria’s Secret Models posed in specially made ‘boxes’ much to the thrill and amusement of the men who crowded around taking photos with their cell phones.
