On Friday May 30, 2014 the greater La Romana community enjoyed the first Grand Concert “Avanzando Por La Vida”, where two Gospel Music groups performed to raise money for programs developed by the Cliníca de Familia La Romana. This charity concert was held at Eleoncio Mercedes Sports Center located in Padre Abreu Avenue in La Romana.
Revelación Maranatha
To kick off this concert a group of acrobats, belonging to the 180 Grados Foundation, prepared the audience for the big and exciting night, presenting a show, which included juggling, stilt-walking, mono-cycles and flame-throwers!
Hilda Peguero, an outstanding communicator from La Romana, who always supports the people most in need, played the role of Mistress of Ceremonies. The Two Gospel music group, who came together that night for a good cause were; the Revelación Maranatha and Alfareros along with the Keritma group.
With the celebration of this concert the Clinica de Familia La Romana celebrated 15 years of bringing health services to La Romana community and much of the east side of the Dominican Republic, an event where people sang, laughed, danced on a beautiful night at the Eleoncio Mercedes Sports Center in La Romana.
