Casa de Campo has just added 80 new golf carts equipped with GPS capabilities to their fleet.
The four-passenger EFI Gas Cars (a brand-new make and model from Club Car) are equipped with the “Visage Resort Edition”, which incorporates navigation tools, maps and two-way communication capabilities to make getting around the 7,000-acre Casa de Campo resort easier than ever before.
In addition, the system allows Casa de Campo to monitor the whereabouts of golf carts across its vast property, ensuring the safety and security of residents, guests and employees.
The 10-inch color touchscreens will also allow Casa de Campo to communicate with it’s guests, delivering news about “The Sporting Life” at Casa de Campo, as well as internal promotions for resort restaurants, special events like concerts and polo matches, and off-site excursions. Another very nice feature is for real estate, with content triggered by location. For example, an on-screen overview of a property will be displayed when passed in a golf cart.
More GPS golf carts will be added as Casa de Campo updates its 300-car fleet this year.
“The Visage Resort Edition will make it even easier for guests and residents alike to enjoy the unsurpassed amenities offered at our tropical playground. The Visage Media Network’s capacity for revenue generation is also particularly enticing, as we will extend sponsorship opportunities to select, high-end local businesses wishing to reach our ultra-affluent guests and residents.”
