Casa de Campo event organizers better watch out, new party-planning company ‘C.T Cafe’, who hosted their first event earlier this week – look set to make their mark on the Casa de Campo entertaining scene! C.T Cafe, founded by Camila Alonzo (11 years old) and Tatiana Jorio (13 years old) hosted their launch event ‘A Home Cooked Meal’ this past Monday the 18th of July at the Casa de Campo villa of Patricia Proaño (Camilia’s mother). Honored guests of this VIP event received personal invites to their Casa de Campo villas, with the instructions “dress your best for a formal occasion” as well as advisory; “This is a ladies night!!No kids or guys!’

With that in mind, the lucky ladies donned their finest dresses, shoes and jewelry and were welcomed by Camila and Tatiana themselves with Piña Martini’s (the creation and tasting of which had been overseen by Patricia, Camila’s mother), which were enjoyed with an array of appetizers; cheese and parsley dip served in a bread bowl, as well a garlic and parsley dip – both of which were prepared from scratch by the girls themselves and were so delicious they were devoured by their hungry guests!

Following cocktail hour, guests were led into the dining room, which had been exquistly decorated; beautiful centerpieces adorned the table, with perfectly placed table settings, complete with professionally designed name cards – everything was perfect and the smell of the freshly cooked food was all we needed to get dug in! We enjoyed a beautiful green salad with home-made dressing, pasta shells with a delicious creamy filling and juicy and tender beef served with a wonderful mushroom sauce – so excellent that many guests returned for seconds! And just when we thought the evening couldn’t get any better – C.T Cafe surprised us with an enticing array of home-baked deserts such as pecan pie, mini-cup cakes and there was even a chocolate fountain! Yummmy!! And finally…..HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRICELLE!!!! The girls also took the opportunity to wish Gricelle a very happy birthday, when they presented her with her very own home-made cake and everyone sang happy birthday!
Congratulations to Camila and Tatiana – it was a wonderful evening and we look forward to enjoying more events and parties with C.T Cafe in the future!
