Kristin Simmons’ bold and vibrant exhibition, Welcome to My Delulu Era: Resort Edition, is coming to a close — but not without one final, immersive experience. On April 4 at 6:30 p.m., art lovers are invited to step into the pop-art world themselves at the Altos de Chavón Art Gallery in Casa de Campo.

An Interactive Farewell

Inspired by the viral term delulu — short for delusional — the collection uses mixed media, collage and interactive installations to explore how people create their own alternative realities. “I wanted to create something that would make people smile while still maintaining our usual critique in a fun and daring way,” Simmons said during the opening.
