The world famous and hugely prestigious sailing event the ‘Farr 40 World Championship 2010’ is being held in Casa de Campo this April and already we are starting to hear quiet a buzz about it!

The Rolex Farr 40 World Championship is a highly competitive and extremely fast-paced sailing event which will see Casa de Campo full of sailing aficionados and supporters. The event is scheduled to take place from April 21st to April 24th and will include up to 10 races throughout the 4 days to determine the overall winner.

Aside from the actual race the Marina Casa de Campo and Casa de Campo Living (naturally) are already busy planning events to coincide with the race – to enhance the experience for everyone and spice it up a bit!

Rafid Ynirio, Casa de Campo Yacht Club secretary, sent us the following message about the up-coming event:

“During an extensive day of meetings with one of the Farr 40 World Championship 2010 event’s sponsor, Listin Diario, and our partner in the media campaign, Pagés BBDO, we developed an extraordinary agenda at Santo Domingo, pointing out the things to be done and brainstorming outstanding ideas which will end up producing one of the most memorable events ever held at Casa de Campo. You will shortly start hearing the buzz of all of what Casa de Campo Marina and the Yacht Club promises for the upcoming Farr 40 World Championship 2010.
