Here are a few tips to help you get ready:

  1. Consult Your Doctor: Before you hit the track, get a green light from your doctor. Your health and well-being come first.
  2. Take It Step by Step: Don’t rush into things. Search for workout plans that match your level of fitness. Progress takes time, so be patient and consistent.
  3. Rest and Recover: Your body needs rest to perform at its best. Ensure you get enough sleep and allow time for your muscles to recover.
  4. Listen to Your Body: If you’re feeling pain, take it as a sign to ease up. Overexerting yourself can lead to injury. Be kind to your body.
  5. Know the Route: Contact the provided contacts to familiarize yourself with the race route. Knowing what to expect – like hills or flat stretches – can help you prepare.

Remember, the journey is just as important as the destination. Gather friends for a training group, and enjoy the process!

Whether you’re aiming for the top spot or simply crossing the finish line, the Bayahibe 10K is your chance to shine.
