If you have been part of the Casa de Campo community long enough, you probably have attended one or two Genesis Club “VIP Parties”. Although it’s currently closed and only opens for special events, we know there is something awesome in the works to bring Genesis Club back and better than it was in its days of glory. But before getting into the details about its future, let’s go back a few years and remember what Genesis Club used to be!
In recent years we been part of some of the special Genesis Club openings such as the EXVIGLIO 2015 Graduation Party, The LBHO After-Party, and Raving Colourland.
But for many of us (myself included!), Genesis Club was a permanent and awesome club for late night parties, specially during Semana Santa and the Winter Holidays!
Let’s not forget that Genesis Discotheque opened December 31st 1980, just one year after the main parts of Altos de Chavón were completed, and even BEFORE Frank Sinatra inaugurated the village’s 5,000 seat Grecian style amphitheatre with an HBO televised special on August 20 1982.
Casa de Campo Living’s coverage in 2006 did not include those epic Genesis Club parties and hence we do not have pictures that far back. HOWEVER, we did our research and happened to stumble across some great archives from 2006 and 2007 parties in Genesis Club covered by Bufeo.com! And because credit is given where credit is due, we have to thank Bufeo for allowing us to take a trip back through memory lane and bring you these pictures which we are sure you will enjoy! We guarantee you will stumble across one or two familiar faces and maybe even spot yourself in the process.
So before inviting you again to browse through this awesome compilation, we encourage you to start getting excited because the new and improved Genesis Club is set to open mid December! We have seen some pictures and taken a peek inside the construction site, and rest assured it will be NEW, but those great memories and stories of endless nights of fun live on in its walls.
