The Fundación MIR XXVIII Spiritual Retreat: Sept. 29th

This post is also available in: Spanish

Fundación MIR announced its 28th ‘Retiro Carismatico’ 2018, which in English means “Charismatic Retreat” or more accurately “Spiritual Retreat” and will take place on Saturday, September 29th starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Politecnico Fundación MIR, located on the Km #2 of the La Romana-Higueral highway.

This event has been celebrated every year since 1990, organized by Lian Fanjul de Azqueta and Lyanne Azqueta, President and Founder and Executive Director of the Fundación MIR respectively. Mrs. Lian Fanjul De Azqueta has close to her heart that only that our children and young people receive quality education but she also believes that, given the different social and cultural contexts with which they must deal with daily, believing in God is a way to instill hope, so with the retreat she along with Fundación MIR promote the word of God and a fraternal encounter among Christians.

Every year the retreat has a different theme with the aim to open the hearts of the people, embrace religion and impart and share biblical knowledge.  This year it’s “¿Cómo llegar a la vida eterna?,” which translates to “How to get to eternal life?” The retreat is open to everyone; children, teenagers and adults, and is of course, free!

This beautiful event will have the participation of Mons. Ramon E. Albino Guzman of the Diocese of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico; Mr. Felipe from the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico; Dr. Carol Razza of the Ministry of Warriors of Worship, as well as members of the Community Siervos de Cristo coming from Santo Domingo who are devoted to teaching the word of God. The following is the complete schedule of the event, and for more information, you can contact the Fundación MIR offices at 809-523-8270.
