The retreat was coordinated by the Fundación MIR, the Estrella de Paz Praying Group and Georgina Calzada, members of the Comunidad de Siervos de Cristo Vivo, the parish of San Antonio de Padua – St. Stanislaus of Krakow along with the heavenly voices of the Cana Music Ministry Choir.
Throughout the weekend several conferences were held at the Flamboyant Room at Casa de Campo, which were given by Archbishop Ramon E. Albino, Carol Razza and Father Julio de Jesús, attended by over 600 participants.
On Saturday, Father Julio de Jesús and Mr. Felipe Pérez offered a conference for young people in the Cacique Convention Center at Casa de Campo, where more than 300 young people from La Romana received a great deal of spirituality.
During the afternoon of the same day the usual “Misa por los Enfermos” (Mass for the Sick) was held on the court of Politécnico Fundación MIR, where with more than 500 people present, Felipe Perez, Carol Razza, Miguel Calzada, Alexis, Camilo Elba and Father Julio de Jesus prayed for the sick.
Ms. Lian Fanjul de Azqueta and Mr. Norberto Azqueta gave the words of farewell and also thanked all those who gathered to participate in this tradition that celebrates a journey of 25 years, and announced that the next retreat will be held from September 30th to October 2nd of 2016.
