On Saturday January 19th, the Fundación MIR will be celebrating it’s 29th annual Magical Splendor fashion show and gala, hosted by Raysa and Alfy Fanjul accompanied by Lian Fanjul de Azqueta, President and Founder of the organization. This year Fundación MIR is offering ‘junior tickets’ for only USD$200!
For the fourth year in a row, one of Casa de Campo’s most elegant social and fundraising occasions will see the return of Naeem Khan to Casa Grande, this time featuring an exclusive Fashion Show of his SS’2019 collection. Khan is known for his ornate and intricately detailed gowns and for dressing personalities such as Michelle Obama, Queen Noor of Jordan, The Duchess of Cambridge; Kate Middleton and celebrities as Beyoncé, Carrie Underwood and Mandy Moore.
For many years, MIR Charities has promoted extensive education and health programs in its vocational schools for girls and for boys. Each year they continue to grow, both for their students to have a higher education and for their graduates to have a better position in the labor market.
The event includes the celebration of a golf tournament on Saturday in the exclusive golf course of La Romana Country Club. During the night at Casa Grande there will be a welcome cocktail and then the guests will be able to enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by Casa de Campo especially inspired on this occasion.

The Fundación MIR is a non-profit organization which works to provide education to the children of the greater La Romana area, who are most in need. They run 3 schools; the MIR Esperanza (boys vocational school), the Escuela Técnica Vocacional Fundación MIR (girls vocational school) and the Primaria MIR (infants school).
