Golf transcends its role as a beloved pastime, becoming a nexus for communal engagement and philanthropic initiatives. Fundación MIR is pleased to announce the date for its upcoming Golf for Education event, scheduled for January 13, 2024.
The Golf for Education event, hosted at the La Romana Country Club, promises a delightful day on the golf course and a crucial platform for raising funds essential to the Fundación MIR many programs.
Since 1990, Fundación MIR, founded by Mrs. Lian Fanjul de Azqueta, has steadfastly served the women, youth, and children of La Romana. Through the support of benefactors and individual contributors, the organization directs resources into social programs providing homes, medical assistance, education, and technical preparation for those in our community who need it the most.
Participating in this event is not only a fun way to support the students and teachers of the Fundación MIR Schools but also an opportunity to spend the day on the beautiful La Romana Country Club golf course. Engage in a friendly competition to determine the winner of this event, knowing that all funds raised through the tournament directly contribute to the Foundation’s diverse programs.
