The boys at the Niños de Cristo Orphanage spend their weeks busy studying in school but, as any kid should, they need to have some fun on weekends. That is why on Sunday, November 1st, after the Dueños festivities are over, the Casa de Campo community is invited to visit the children for a day of games and fun!
Cinco Gelato will be treating the kids to ice cream, and we encourage you to donate your time to come over and have some fun. Feel free to bring games and sporting equipment because we plan to play in the playground all afternoon.
This is a great opportunity to bring your own kids so they get to mingle and have fun with other kids their age while at the same time educating them of the value of community service.
We are hearing through the grapevine that the kids may be getting a very SPECIAL visit this weekend as well! So while we want to keep it as a surprise for the kids, make sure to join us on Sunday for a day of fun and games if you want to find out who the special visitor is!
Hope to see you all there!

Orfanato Niños de Cristo is an orphanage located in the Dominican Republic that was founded in 1993. It houses more than 160 children who have been abandoned and/or victims of abuse, both from the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Orfanato Niños de Cristo is dedicated to improving the lives of the children, focusing on education, health and housing, as most of the children spend their entire childhood and young life in the orphanage. The orphanage has two housing facilities, a privately-run school and recreational areas.
Salsa star Marc Anthony and Henry Cardenas opened the first all-male orphanage in La Romana, sponsored by the Maestro Cares Foundation – its separate all-male complex is integrated within the Niños de Cristo Facilities’.
