Local Marina Casa de Campo business, IBI Nautica, will this year be taking part in the “Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes”, the first in-water boating exhibition of the season, in all of Europe.
The “Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes”, known also as Cannes International Boat & Yacht Show is a unique event, which offers yacht lovers the opportunity to preview the finest jewels of the sea. This show is definitely the epitome of yacht living. Just as Cannes is synonymous with “charme” and the rich and famous, this show has an equal aura of glamour and luxury.
Each September over 50,000 visitors, yacht owners and buyers from countries around the world descend on the enchanting Port de Cannes to see the latest models and nautical innovations. Every year, on display there are all kinds of luxury yachts and boats both old and brand new.
The “Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes” is patronized by all the major boat yards, manufacturers and well known brand names from the nautical world, such as the Italian Azimut – Benetti group.
As the Azimut-Benetti group dealer in Dominican Republic, Haiti, Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands, IBI Nautica based in the Marina Casa de Campo will be taking part in this well-known event, hosting a select group of their most distinguished clients – yacht lovers, who identify with the different yacht brands IBI represents (Azimut, Benetti and Atlantis Yachts).
This extraordinary event takes place in Cannes from the 6th to the 11th of September 2011 and is this year, celebrating its 34th anniversary! The exhibition will be open to the public from 10am till 7pm.
